جامايكا هي دولة في أمريكا الشمالية وهي ثالث أكبر جزر الانتيل في البحر الكاريبي. تقع جنوب غرب هاييتي وجنوب كوبا وعاصمتها كينغستون.

يزداد ارتفاع الاراضي كلما اتجهنا شمالا صوب المناطق الجبلية البركانيه.

التربة حمراء عميقة يستغل 21% منها في الزراعه والبقية للرعي ومعظم الاراضي غير مستغلة. تنتشر فيها الغابات.
